kyle loved Elevation Restaurant and Cafe

Great Place for a delicious Coffee!! The treats in the cabinet are tasty too and the view is second to none!!! The staff are very friendly. We actually stopped for a coffee in the morning on the way for a hike and went back for dinner on the way home that day! Too good!

Annabel loved Chikos Restaurant and Cafe

This place looks a bit funny from the road, as it's not really where you'd expect to find a high-end fusion restaurant - but Chiko's is well worth a visit. The food is fascinating, and absolutely beautifully presented. Sometimes the flavour or texture combinations can be surprising but they usually work brilliantly. Chiko herself is a lovely and gracious host. This place is definitely a hidden wee gem.

debi loved Handi Tandoori Cuisine - Titirangi

I've been to this Indian restaurant once or twice and found it quite enjoyable. it is tucked out of the way of the main road so you don't see any parking or cars driving by but just a nice little view of down the ranges. the service is good while the food is once again magnificent. I would recommend this spot for anyone.

Johnny loved The Riverhead

It’s never a long time between drinks for me when it comes to my love affair with this gem of a tavern. The last time I was here was for a family birthday and we drove by car. But because it is situated right on the water’s edge and in order to get the full experience of a great Kiwi day out, you need to jump on a boat and head up the inlet to the moorings outside The Riverhead. As New Zealand’s oldest riverside tavern, it’s steeped in history, but when it comes to the menu and craft brews, this place is as modern as it gets. A gastro-pub on steroids, each dish bursts with fresh, seasonal flavours and local produce and meat cuts are at the forefront. Plus, as a regular, I love the fact that new dishes are added often. Their dessert is also an absolute must and I recommend that everyone at the table orders something different so you can enjoy a real taste test. I’m not sure anywhere else in Auckland does such a lip-smackingly-good, sweet finish to end what always is the perfect pub meal. Plus the cold tap beer slides down so nicely on a hot summer’s day that it’s worth taking a sober skipper so you can have a rollicking good country day out. If you’re an Aucklander and haven’t experienced The Riverhead yet then you haven’t lived. It really is that good.

Joanna loved Hallertau Brewbar and Restaurant

I've enjoyed fabulous food and tasting paddles of wine and beer in this very relaxing establishment on several occasions. It's so good, I even booked my work team for pre-Xmas meal drinks function one year. Everyone had a thoroughly great night.

Melissa loved Catalina Cafe

Excellent outdoor area, yummy food and great service - fantastic spot for brunch with friends & family

Excellent Service and Tasty Food!

Really good service and great setting. Had one of the best burgers in NZ with a really fresh bun! My wife had Eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. Great place, great service, great food and brilliant setting.

Kylie loved The Refreshment Room

If you want to eat rustic Italian dishes full of seasonal, local produce picked directly from the garden, all in front of a roaring fire then my favourite Auckland restaurant, The Refreshment Room, is the place to dine at this winter. It's one of the best restaurants in town in my opinion because every mouthful is a flavour explosion and there's a real buzz about this place. Plus when the rain is lashing at the window panes, there's something quite delightful about being perched high in the Waitakere Ranges, feasting on some of the best dishes in town.

Best food in Titirangi

Absolutely loved having lunch here.  Amazingly tasty food.  Great atmosphere, even on the rainy day that we ventured out on.

Trinette loved The Hardware Cafe

Hardware Cafe is such a gem in a great village. Great food, coffee and vibe. Love the singing barista!

Kylie loved Deco Eatery

Everyone I know who lives locally in West Auckland just can't stop raving about how good the food is at Deco Eatery. Growing up a Westie, I've always loved a visit to Lopdell House and it's one of the places I've shared many special meals with my loved ones so I was excited to go and try out this popular new restaurant. While I hear both breakfast and lunch are a real Turkish delight, we headed to Deco for dinner and I was overwhelmed by the quality of the food. I ordered the lamb shoulder and couldn't believe how succulent and juicy it was and there are no words for how good the beetroot relish was. The greek meatballs that the diners ordered next to me also looked incredible and I'm so pleased I left room for dessert!
