Lopa loved Wagamama - Newmarket
Wagamama is so awesome, great for a night out this Halloween with the kids as they get to dress up, get their faces painted and their meals are free!
Ben loved Andrew Andrew Bar
Andrew Andrew is a pretty choice bar all round, craft beers, chill vibes and generally good times. Plus this Halloween they're having a Dead Brides Society themed night with one ticket to this event getting you entry into 5 different Showcase Hospitality venues. If you make it out late on Halloween night you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot to be than Andrew Andrew!
Asher loved Rainbow's End Theme Park Limited
Rainbow’s End might be Auckland’s most famous attraction! Located in Manakau, it is the country’s largest theme park. Plus this Halloween they're hosting a Halloween themed event; Night Frights. They're turning off all the lights and letting you ride in the dark, creating an even more fun and terrifying experience perfect for Halloween!
Krystal loved Blanc
Blanc is an awesome liquor shop out west! I can't wait to head there on October 31 for its Day of The Dead event. With Food trucks and pumpkin carving - it'll be a taste of the American holiday at home in West Auckland.
Sweat Shop Brew Kitchen, Auckland
What was once the home of Sale Street bar has laid the foundations for Sweat Shop Brew Bar and Kitchen. It’s a boutique brewery, with a kitchen that “never sleeps”, holding live music every Friday, with staff that claim they are “the hardest working in the city”. Plus this Halloween is their first birthday and it's going to be quite the event. There will be heaps of George FM DJs on the decks, Halloween theme, spot prizes for best dressed along with general good times and free flowing beers! The place to be this Halloween for sure!
Ben loved Stardome Observatory & Planetarium
Have had some great nights at Stardome reclining relaxing and learning about everything astrology and space related. A really fascinating and relaxing experience which I would recommend to anyone. That's why I'm super excited that Stardome is putting on a Halloween themed night, talking about all the spooky myths and legends that gave the constellations and planets their names. Cya there!
Nureete loved Wannabes Costume Hire
Wannabes Costume Hire have an amazing range of fancy dress costumes and seem to be getting more all the time! A must with Halloween coming up.
Dress Up Mania!
I love to dress up, so whenever I'm invited to a costume party little shivers of glee run through my spine. First Scene is normally the first place I'll go to. There's so much to choose from and the staff is so nice especially the owner guy - he's awesome! He's normally busy but if you can grab him especially if you're stuck on costume ideas he'll have you sorted in a jiffy. Best costume he found me was a young sexy version of Cruella Deville for Halloween and a cute dress to play Alice in Wonderland. They have something for everyone.
Awesome Store
I could spend hours in here gets really busy around Halloween etc go during non peak hours as it is a compact space with a lot filled in n gets very crowded. Amazing costumes. Not that expensive n if you want a costume n can’t find it anywhere else it will probably be here
Spookers, Auckland
Do you really want to scare the living daylights out of your friends? Perfect, Spookers is just the place for you. Get up close and personal with dead nurses, clowns, zombies, that guy from Nightmare on Elm Street and probably the cast of all of the horror films you’ve ever seen. Maybe just don’t get too personal, I’ve seen my fair share of people wetting themselves and/or accidentally hitting an actor because of how scary this place is. Halloween is fast approaching, there is no better time to go!
